General condition
For sale is a beautiful antique pocket watch from the renowned American Waltham Watch Co. from the year 1904. The watch is in remarkably good original condition and is fully functional.
movement (mechanism)
Manufacturer: American Waltham Watch Co. (USA).
Model/Grade: Ensign.
Serial number: 13871298 (dated to approximately 1904).
Stones: 7 Jewels.
Condition: The device operates reliably and cleanly. Very beautiful engravings on the circuit boards.
case (case):
Manufacturer: Philadelphia Watch Case Co.
Material: high-quality gold doublee (3-layer gold plating / gold filled).
Condition: Very good condition with no visible wear ("brassing"). Classic guilloche engraving on the lid with a blank escutcheon for initials.
Type: Open Face.
Dial & hands:
Dial: White enamel dial with Arabic numerals. Very clean condition (no visible hairline cracks).
Hands: Filigree, blued or gilded "Louis XIV" ornamental hands.
Second: Off-center small seconds at the 6 o'clock position.
