Restored 10th‑century Islamic glazed pottery bowl from Khorassan, with a cream interior and brown slip, decorative outer band, 21 cm diameter, exterior plain and repaired with clean breaks; acquired from a French gallery/antique dealer and previously in an old French private collection.

A POTTERY BOWL
KHORASSAN , 9-10TH CENTURY AD.
Of conical form on short foot, the cream interior painted with brown slip with a simple outer band of wavy lines and dots, band of chevrons on the rim, a flower in the centre, the exterior plain, repaired clean breaks.
21 cm diam. Medieval Islamic art.
