Description from the seller

I live and work in Slovakia. Delivery within the European Union takes 7–10 days.

This painting is about a state of calm presence and inner focus. The female figure is captured in a moment of rest, where movement is almost suspended and attention turns inward. The pose is relaxed yet intentional, conveying a sense of personal space and quiet confidence.

The interior is not merely a background but an active part of the atmosphere. Soft tones, flowing fabric, and evenly diffused light create a feeling of slowed time — a “quiet hour” when the outside world gently recedes.

I use the color of the dress as an emotional carrier. Its warm, softly shimmering quality emphasizes the intimacy and fragility of the moment without becoming decorative. The surrounding colors are slightly muted, allowing the viewer to focus on the state of stillness.

The flowers on the table are not an ornament but a sign of nearby life. They suggest the delicacy of the moment and remind us that even in stillness, there is subtle movement and quiet continuity.

With this work, I aimed not to create a traditional portrait, but to convey inner time — a moment when one can simply exist, free from roles or expectations.
