Replica of an 18th-century Spanish carpet from Alcaraz with a density of approximately 120,000 knots per square meter. These carpets reproduce designs from ancient Spanish carpets woven mainly in the provinces of Cuenca and Albacete during the 15th and 16th centuries, renowned throughout Europe at that time, and whose origin is closely linked to the Islamic past of the production territories. The one we present is hand-knotted in Egypt with the finest quality wool and a high density of knots.
