Lot of five issues of De 8 en Opbouw, the 14‑day journal of the architect group De 8 Amsterdam and Opbouw Rotterdam, published in 1938 in Dutch, with softcover stapled bindings, about 14 pages per issue, 29 x 22 cm, in very good condition.

Lot with 5 issues of 'De 8 and Opbouw 14-Day Magazine of the architect group "De 8" Amsterdam and "Opbouw" Rotterdam' - Each issue approximately 14 pages - Softcover, stapled - 29 x 22 cm.
From year 9, issues:
- No. 14 - July 9, 1938
August 17–20, 1938
- No. 19 - September 17, 1938
No. 20 - October 1, 1938
- No. 21 - October 15, 1938
All issues are very good and complete with original covers.
De 8 en Opbouw was the most significant avant-garde periodical of united Dutch architects from the major cities Amsterdam and Rotterdam in the 1930s. De 8 was the mouthpiece for the New Objectivity movement in architecture. It focused on architecture, interior design, various applied arts, criticism, and other related subjects. Collaborators included, among others: Paul Schuitema, who also designed many of the striking covers and layouts for numerous issues, the photographer and designer Piet Zwart, as well as many other architects and designers of iconic buildings and designs from the pre-war era.
