Elegant bedside table attributed to Italian production from the post-war period, Mid-Century Modern era.

Made of solid wood, it features simple lines and harmonious proportions, typical of Italian rationalism from the 1940s and 1950s.
The structure is enhanced by a central element in metal that serves as a joint and decorative detail, highlighting a design attentive to both function and aesthetics.
The upper part is shaped to support a jacket and trousers without deforming them, while the base with reinforcements ensures stability. A functional yet sculptural object, it reflects the bourgeois taste of the Mid-Century.

Stylistic attribution to the realm of modernist Italian design, with affinities to the work of designers such as Ico Parisi / Paolo Buffa.
