Detailed description
Elegant rectangular box in sterling silver 800, adorned with a refined light onyx lid with natural veins, and an interior lined with wood.
The silver frame is finely hand-engraved with plant motifs and ornamental scrolls, typical of Italian silversmith production of the twentieth century. The contrast between the cold, worked surface of the silver and the natural stone of the onyx gives the object a sober yet highly elegant character.
The lid is hinged and features a discreet handle on the front side. A versatile object, it can be used as a desk box, jewelry box, cigarette holder, or decorative container.
