Chinese stone disc also known as Disque bi (璧) on a black metal support.

Traditionally, these discs are associated with several unspecified materials here.
- Jade (nephrite or jadeite) for the two old disks
Limestone or marble (common for decorative copies)
Serpentine or other decorative stones

A bi disc (璧) is an ancient Chinese ritual object, characterized by:
a circular shape
a central hole
a flat and polished surface
It appears from the Chinese Neolithic (Liangzhu culture, around 3000 BC) and remains in use until the imperial dynasties.

Meaning :
- The circle represents Heaven
- The central hole symbolizes passage, the axis of the world, or communication between heaven and earth
Bi discs were often placed in the tombs of important people.
