Bedside table lamp (2) - Glass

Pair of table lamps (abat-jour) Barovier & Toso, made in Murano in the 1930s–1940s, Art Deco period.
The lamps are Murano blown glass, composed of two concave parts shaped like leaves, joined by brass fittings, and designed for a single light. The surface is smooth and ribbed on the exterior; internally it has a texture created with the graniglia technique that enhances its reflections and embellishes it. The switch is the original one, from the 1940s/1950s. I note the worn condition of the power cord; the lamp works but the cord needs to be replaced. All of this is visible in the attached photos.
