A beautiful and rare matching giltwood vanity set, consisting of a central Louis XVI–style dressing table with an ornate mirrored back and two matching bedside cabinets.
The set is made in the French revival tradition, featuring:
• Hand-carved decorative motifs (ribbons, beading, acanthus scrolls, and floral ornaments)
• Woven cane/rattan panels on the mirror surround and cupboard doors
• Turned and fluted tapered legs typical of the Louis XVI period
• Original gilt / gold leaf–effect finish with intentional ageing (patina)
• Curved serpentine shapes and elegant proportions
