Smithsonite in incredible colors, An exceptional large polymorphic specimen in yellow red white sea black colors, with an amazing glassy luster, very rare composition in an impressive color palette
Trace elements are the direct cause of the color. Iron and Manganese are enriched in orange-yellow Smithsonite.
The substitution of zinc by Manganese is limited and changes the color of Smithsonite to pink.
The blue and cyan (blue-green) colors are due to Aurichalkite-Hemimorphite inclusions being the main factor affecting the color.
