BRIGA - Todo 12

In this work, BRIGA constructs a visual universe suspended between play and unease, where pop and childish imagery becomes a vehicle for a deeper reflection on the emotional fragility of the human being. Hybrid figures, anthropomorphic animals, and recognizable icons of video game culture coexist on a vibrant pictorial surface, seemingly light but permeated with subtle tensions.

Colorful ghosts, a crowned bird, a stylized elephant, and direct writings emerge as symbols of a fragmented story, where control and chaos, irony and fear chase each other without ever fully resolving. The reference to the game — explicit and implicit — becomes a metaphor for life: an unstable ground where rules seem clear but can change at any moment.

Color is the absolute protagonist: turquoise, yellow, red, and blue create an emotional environment rather than a physical space. The painterly material remains intentionally visible and imperfect, with rough marks and instinctive gestures that reject any smooth aesthetics in favor of authentic and direct expression. The painted text does not explain the work but amplifies it, leaving the viewer free to inhabit doubt.

A student of Igor Verrilli at the Atelier Verrilli, BRIGA has developed a personal language that dialogues with street art and naïve art, maintaining a strong authorial identity. In this work, as in all his research, error and intuition become an integral part of the creative process, transforming painting into a visual story of our time.

To ensure maximum protection during transport, the artwork is shipped either rolled or laid flat, inside secure and professional packaging, complete with a photograph authenticated by the artist. It is recommended to unroll it as soon as received to best preserve its integrity.

The ambient image is intended to provide a clearer view of the visual effect that the artwork can have in a real space, highlighting its expressive strength and aesthetic balance.
