Description from the seller
AMA • Pope (1985) - "Aurora GetRich" - 1/20
When wealth becomes a luminous obsession.
After the success of the Aurora Borealis, Aurora Original Fake, Aurora Authentic Fake series... AMA continues its ironic exploration of contemporary myths, between social success, pop culture, and the fantasy of absolute wealth.
"Aurora Get Rich" – Get Rich Or Die Trying transforms a brutal mantra of modern culture into a luminous, chrome, hypnotic, and almost ritualistic art object.
On the front face, the message is clear:
GET RICH, accompanied by an iconic wink to the double C, the universal symbol of luxury and desire.
On the sides, the sentence completes itself, without detour.
Or die / trying
A straightforward, radical slogan, immediately understandable.
A contemporary injunction frozen in light.
The day: a chrome icon, cold and desirable.
The night: a luminous explosion, hypnotic, almost obsessive.
A brutal contrast between fantasized success and contemporary pressure.
Limited edition of 20 pieces for 2025, signed, numbered, and delivered with an AMA certificate of authenticity.
Fast and secure shipping (bubble wrap, silk paper, reinforced cardboard) with delivery against signature.
Features :
7 luminous colors
- 3 modes of diffusion (fixed, faded transitions, simple transitions)
Power supply via USB cord with switch (supplied)
Height: 20 cm
- Width: 9 cm
Depth: 9 cm
Who is AMA?
Born from the fusion of talents of French artist friends, the AMA collective takes you into its universe blending vibrant colors and diverse materials.
Sculptures, paintings, and installations, the collective passionately employs a multitude of techniques to bring its works to life.
The AMA collective mainly draws its inspiration from the world around it, but also through currents of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few.
Whether for a gift, a keepsake, or your personal collection of contemporary art, you will easily find your favorite piece thanks to the diversity of our works. Indeed, AMA pursues its passion for urban art through street art and pop art creations (limited edition or not), covering a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (bitcoin, ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, drug abuse, luxury and haute couture brands, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medications, recycling and upcycling, as well as products from the agro-food and fashion industries (sports, sneakers...).
Brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, AMA likes to playfully reinterpret labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans, and many others.
Dear bidders, our team is making every effort to ensure that all the necessary information for evaluating the lot being sold is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description, and photos... After the sale, no unjustified claims will be accepted. Thank you for your understanding.
