A large and superb glazed stoneware jug, measuring circa 18,5cm in height and weighing 1252g, decorated in polychrome enamels, the handle molded as a cat and enameled gold, the sides of the vessel incised and enameled as hanging fish and tubers.
Incised with German proverb to the side and marked to the underside with Sarreguemines manufacturer´s mark, circa 1880. Sarreguemines was part of Germany at the time.

Condition: Very good, no damages or repairs. Minor wear commensurate with age.
