Authentic French Art Deco circular glass plate, produced in Lorraine circa 1925–1935.
This elegant piece is crafted in pressed moulded satin-finished glass, decorated with a striking stylised floral rosette radiating from the centre, set against a geometric angular background characteristic of Lorraine Art Deco production. The composition reflects the refined balance between floral inspiration and architectural geometry typical of the period.
The plate is signed 'LORRAIN', molded directly into the glass and clearly visible on the rim, confirming its attribution.
It is fitted with its original solid silver mount, finely adorned with a beaded border and bearing the French Minerva hallmark, guaranteeing solid silver (950/1000). Such silver mounts were reserved for high-quality decorative objects during the interwar period, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and value.
