Antique oak side table / wine table – octagonal top with hand-carved decoration – circa 1900


Description
Very beautiful antique side table from the late 19th / early 20th century, made of solid oak.
The small table has an octagonal top with a richly hand-carved vine motif around it, giving the whole piece a warm and characterful appearance.

The base consists of turned legs with a cross connection and central knob, fully crafted in traditional construction. The proportions are elegant and compact, making the small table ideally suited as a lamp table, wine table, or decorative side piece.
The original patina has been beautifully preserved and shows only normal signs of use appropriate for its age, without any disruptive damage or restorations. The small table is sturdy and stable.

Height: 45 cm
Blade: approximately 35 cm in diameter, octagonal
Material: solid oak

Period & origin
Period: circa 1890–1920
Origin: Western Europe (probably Belgium).
