Europhon Autunno portable turntable, manufactured in 1970, orange, with diverse conservation condition, tested and functioning, includes power supply, weighs 3 kg, attributed to designer Adriano Rampoldi.
Description from the seller
The iconic suitcase turntable, in its Autumn model with orange color, is in good condition. Small signs of wear (scratches) but no cracks. It works perfectly even though the platter is slightly eccentric, the 45 RPM adapter is missing, and the cable is not original. Unfortunately, that was lost. But since it is a standard cable, still in production today, I replaced it.
Sounds good, it doesn't squeal excessively given its 55 years of age, and it has no defects in the color. The orange is intact throughout the surface and there are no cracks. Probably a good overhaul would restore it to its former glory, but I recommend using it on records that are not necessarily collector's items, meaning since it's a portable object that still retains its carrying handle, the records should also be played... and not just preserved. The needle is original and in good condition.
The photos show minor defects (two missing rubber supports on the plate), but nothing more.
I reiterate that the platter does not have a regular movement in terms of the axis, but this does not limit listening or operation. The two front buttons (45 and 33 rpm) and the graphics are perfect, which is quite rare.
Being more of a display or collection item, it always makes a good impression.
