The Marantz 2225L comes from what was perhaps the best series of Marantz (or at least the most popular), launched when the manufacturer was at its peak. Built with great seriousness, this amplifier-tuner features the famous 'Gyro-touch': a knob that allows for quick scrolling through station selections. The device also displays the brand's characteristic blue-green silkscreening and display.

Delivering a power of 25 watts per channel, the 2225L features a three-band equalizer (bass, midrange, treble), complemented by two filters (high-pass, low-pass) and a loudness control. The connections are those typically found on equipment in this range: phono, auxiliary, tape recorder (x2), and A and B speakers.
