Designed by Sam Hecht for Dutch design brand Droog in 2010, this set of ''Twin Stoppers'' offers a refined reinterpretation of the classic doorstop. Instead of the conventional wedge shape, the Twin Stopper features asymmetrical ends that effortlessly adapt to various gaps between the door and the floor, simply flip the stopper to find the perfect fit. The doorstoppers are made of high-quality silicone rubber, providing durability and a subtle flexibility that makes them easy and pleasant to use. Their elegant, minimalist design allows them to blend seamlessly into any interior, whether modern, contemporary, or classic. The stoppers are in new condition and will be shipped in their original packaging. About the designer: Sam Hecht is a British industrial designer, born in London in 1969. He is the co-founder of the design studio Industrial Facility, together with Kim Colin, and is renowned for rethinking everyday objects through simplicity, function, and thoughtful clarity. Hecht has collaborated with a wide range of prestigious international brands, including Muji, Herman Miller, Emeco, Magis, Lexon, Epson, LaCie, Wästberg, Yamaha, Issey Miyake, Whirlpool, Thonet, and Established & Sons. His designs often transform ordinary household and office objects into icons of modern design. His work is included in the permanent collections of major institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and he has been appointed Royal Designer for Industry in the UK.
