Description from the seller
GROOVIDO’s Castingland mirrors are sculptural fragments that capture the raw beauty of transformation.
This set of 7 drop-like mirrors emerges from an experimental casting process developed in-house by the studio, where liquid pewter is cast into Glassfoam blocks, resulting in a textured, organic surface that shines with reflected light.
Each frame is handcrafted, making every piece one-of-a-kind. The unpredictable texture formed by the expanded glass mould lends the metal a rough, hybrid quality, echoing the tension between nature and artificial in our everyday surroundings.
The drop-like silhouettes, recalling splashes of molten metal, don’t just reflect your space, they shape it!
The set includes 7 pieces in different sizes, ideal for creating a floating composition on your wall or adding sculptural depth to a quiet corner.
