Fine Chinese blue and white porcelain tea caddy, made in Jingdezhen during the Kangxi period (1662–1722), fitted with a 19th century Dutch silver mount. The vessel is decorated in a rich, deep cobalt blue with 'lange lijzen' (oriental ladies) in a garden setting. The base bears an artemis leaf mark. Overall, the piece is of very high quality.
