Elegant blue and white Chinese porcelain tea caddy or shaker, made in Jingdezhen during the Kangxi period (1662–1722). The vessel is decorated with rocks, insects, and flowering plants. The marked silver mounting is a later Dutch addition, dating to the 19th century. Condition: very good, apart from a small backing flaw (indicated in the photographs).
