Polaroid Land Camera Model 160 from the 1960s, in good physical condition and not tested.
Description from the seller
Due to the end of my collection: a Polaroid Land Camera Model 160, produced around 1962–1965. It was a popular instant camera at the time that used packfilm (such as Type 107/108 packfilm or the earlier Type 40). The camera was known for its bellows design, integrated flash (often a flashlamp), and the ability to develop the photo in less than a minute. It was part of the Land Camera series that made self-developing photos popular from the late 1940s to the 1980s. It produced direct prints shortly after taking the photo, a hallmark of Edwin Land's invention. Thanks to its foldable design, the camera is compact when closed and fully functional when unfolded. A beautiful collector's item and a beloved camera among enthusiasts of analog and instant photography. Specific, detailed wiki pages for this exact model are scarce, but general information about the Land Camera can be found on Wikipedia and Camera-wiki.org.
Condition
The camera is in good condition, appropriate for its age.
No or negligible signs of use
Open and close mechanism works smoothly.
Not tested due to missing film pack.
The offered camera is in good condition, but whether it is operational is unknown since roll film is no longer being produced.
It is a true masterpiece of industrial design and remains, even 60 years later, an desirable object, very suitable for collectors of vintage cameras, design enthusiasts, and instant photography aficionados.
