Italian school (XVIII) - Paesaggio

Ancient Italian painting from the mid-18th century. Oil on canvas depicting a landscape with figures and architecture along the river, executed with good painterly skill. The antique wooden frame is finely carved, gilded, and lacquered with a pleasing decoration and a beautiful patina. The picture is oriented horizontally, with a pleasant sense of depth, suitable for antique collectors and decorators. The work, with its patina, has undergone conservative restoration over time, including retouching and color touch-ups in certain areas (see photo). It is mounted on the original stretcher, overall in good conservation condition with some signs of age. Painted surface dimensions: H 65 x L 108 cm.
