Attractive Chinese blue and white porcelain tea caddy, made in Jingdezhen during the late Ming period (1368-1644). The vessel is decorated with a scrolling lotus pattern. The marked silver mounting is a later Dutch addition, dating to the early 20th century.
Condition: broken, authentic kintsugi using real silver (see the photographs).
