Fine Chinese softpaste porcelain tea caddy or sugar box, made in Jingdezhen during the Kangxi period (1662-1722). The vessel is decorated with very finely painted landscape scene. The engraved and marked silver mountings are later Dutch additions, dating to the late 19th century. Condition: perfect (see the photographs).
