French silver threekim? actually three-pippel vase: a late 19th‑century silver vase on mule‑footed legs with ram head ornaments, measuring 14 cm high and 6 cm wide, weighing about 117–120 g, made in .835 silver and marked with a swan-like export/quality mark and the number 2; in good used condition with minor signs of age.
Description from the seller
Frans silver three-pike vase – late 19th century
An elegant French silver three-spike vase from the late 19th century, crafted in finely detailed silver and mounted on goat-footed supports with ram heads as decorative accents. The vase stands 14 cm tall and weighs 117 grams.
At the bottom there is a small stamp in the shape of a swan, presumably a French export or quality mark, combined with the number '2'.
This points to French origin and the customary inspection practice of the period.
The vase is a fine example of 19th-century French decorative silverwork, in which neoclassical ornamentation such as animal motifs and elegant feet were frequently employed.
The object combines craftsmanship, decorative finesse and historical charm, and is very suitable for collectors of French silver and 19th-century miniature objects.
