Elegante boîte à bijoux rectangulaire en bois ( noyer) réalisé selon un travail artisanal oriental de grande finesse, probablement libanaise datable du milieu de la seconde moitié du XX eme siècle.

Le coffret est richement décoré d'une marqueterie géométrique traditionnelle composée de bois teintés et d'incrustations de nacre véritable, formant des motifs étoilés et polygonaux caractéristiques de l 'art islamique.
La marqueterie est présente sur le couvercle, les côtés, ainsi qu'à l’intérieur du couvercle , ce qui témoigne d’un travail soigné et décoratif jusque dans les détails.

L 'intérieur est gainé d'un tissu rouge bordeaux et compartimenté en trois espaces, parfaitement adaptés au rangement de bijoux( bagues, bracelets, colliers).
Les charnières métalliques sont fonctionnelles et permettent une ouverture fluide.

Objet décoratif et utilitaire de qualité pouvant être utilisé comme boîte à bijoux, coffret de rangement ou pièce décorative

Très bel état général,légères traces d'usage et patine du bois conformes à l'âge de l'objet, sans manque ni accident.
Marqueterie complète et bien conservée, intérieur propre , charnières en bon état de fonctionnement.
