Description from the seller

Luminous Globe

JRO multi-light globe | glass ball | 1950s/60s

Our entire planet, in a manageable size, at the time of the mid-20th century, produced by JRO-Verlag Munich. Through the multi-principle, the globe simultaneously displays two map images – without illumination, the geographic map, and when illuminated, the physical map.
The DieJRO multi-globes from the middle of the previous century were among the most beautiful luminous globes.
The stand made of honey-colored wood with a metal hemisphere reflecting the globe, and the semi-meridian ring made of aluminium with degree markings, transform the educational viewing object into a decorative element in the study.

Height: 44 cm
Ø: 34 cm
Ø foot: 15 cm
