Two antique wooden gilded frames from Spain, in Louis Philippe style, dating to 1930–1940, external 17 × 15 cm and internal 8 × 6 cm, in good used condition with signs of age and minor imperfections.
Description from the seller
Interesting lot of two antique gilded wooden frames, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, both of great decorative quality and excellent wall presence.
The first frame stands out for its rich carving and deep moldings, with a design inspired by classical and baroque styles, very expressive and sculptural. The second frame, with straighter lines, features a finely crafted continuous vegetal ornamentation, ideal for artworks, engravings, or mirrors.
The lot is mainly offered for the value of the frames, highly sought-after pieces by collectors and decorators.
As a value added, a small antique oil painting is included as a gift, depicting a bucolic landscape with architecture and a watercourse, with loose brushwork and a pleasing chromatic palette. The painting can be kept or replaced according to the buyer's preferences.
