Description from the seller
A rare medieval pocket sundial from the Middle Ages (15th century). With this you could tell the time. Made from a lead/tin alloy. Found in the nineties by 'mudlarkers' along the Thames in London, England. It comes from the 'Gesink collection'. Shown in the book: 'Handbook for Seekers' from 2005 and 2010 (page 290) and 'Handbook for Metal Detector Seekers' from 2022 (p. 273).
