Table lamp and wall lamp, model Manon, designed by Yamada Shomei in 1975 with an origami-inspired red plastic design, features an internal automatic switch that turns off when folded, can be used standing or on the wall, is in working order with a cord length of about 175 cm and an E14 socket, dimensions 21 cm high × 7 cm wide × 17 cm deep, dating to 1970–1980, in good condition with signs of age.

This iconic table/wall lamp was designed by Yamada Shomei in 1975.
The design called "Manon" is inspired by the shapes of Japanese origami.
The lamp is equipped with an automatic switch built into it.
This is how the lamp turns off when it is bent.
It can be used both upright and on the wall.
The lamp is working. Cable length is about 175 cm. E14 base.
This foldable desk lamp was produced for the first time in the 1970s by Yamada Shomei Lighting Co. Ltd, a Japanese company still in operation. This lamp has also been sold by several companies around the world, including: Tronconi - Italy, Vrieland Design - Netherlands, Happylight - Netherlands, Massive - Belgium, Fischer Leuchten - Germany, Näve Leuchten, Germany, Brilliant Leuchten - Germany, Fase - Italy, E/Lite Products and probably others. This copy was produced by Vrieland Design.
