Description from the seller
An elegant decorative table piece of French origin, distinguished by its refined ornamentation and visual balance. Its morphology and details place it within the classic style of late 19th or early 20th century European decorative silverware.
-Origin: Attributed to France (based on style and typology).
-Style: Louis XV / Rococo (Neo-Rococo).
-Period: Circa 1890-1940.
-Material: Base metal (probably brass) with a thick silver plating. It has no visible maker's marks or hallmarks.

-Ornamentation:
* Cup: Decorated at the base with acanthus leaves in relief and a scalloped upper rim.
*Handles: Two organically designed, S-shaped side handles with intertwined scrolls.
Stem: A highly complex openwork structure with rocaille motifs and intertwined scrolls that elevate the cup.
Base: A stepped circular base with a mirror-polished finish. A quadripod base (four legs) decorated with floral motifs and shells, typical of the Rococo ornamental repertoire.

*Total height: 24.7 cm.
*Height to the rim of the cup: 21.5 cm.
*Total width (between handles): 20.5 cm.
