Description from the seller

Elegant Portuguese silver vase / solifleur, crafted from solid silver (833/1000) and bearing the official Portuguese eagle hallmark, in use since 1938.

The vase has a harmonious, classical form with a globular body, a slender neck, and a slightly protruding rim. The front is finely decorated with a repoussé floral motif, executed in a traditional, lightly naturalistic stylistic idiom that is characteristic of Portuguese silverware from the mid-20th century.

The finish shows a beautiful, soft patina, appropriate to its age and use, which gives the object extra character and authenticity. No obstructive damage; normal signs of use consistent with age.
