Description from the seller
Pioneer PL-12D
This model is one of the most beloved and best-selling turntables of the 1970s and enjoys an excellent worldwide reputation for its simple yet highly effective design, reliable engineering, and surprisingly musical performance.
This Pioneer PL-12D is a manual, belt-driven turntable with a focus on mechanical quietness and sound quality. Because it lacks automatic features, the mechanism is simpler, resulting in less wear, lower resonance, and a very stable playback.
Thanks to the solid wooden plinth, heavy aluminum platter, and well-balanced tonearm, this turntable delivers a warm, natural, and controlled sound that pairs exceptionally well with a wide range of musical styles.
General condition
- Good condition, fully functional.
- Recently serviced and ready to play.
- Both speeds (33⅓ and 45 RPM) are stable.
- The display arm moves smoothly and is properly balanced.
- The drivetrain and motor operate quietly and smoothly.
- Housing in good condition with minor signs of wear appropriate for its age.
- Dust cover present; shows light superficial scratches.
