The Auto Union Typ C is assembled by hand from 1,026 parts into a precision model of the highest class. The individual parts are made from high-quality materials: 23 parts are zinc die-cast, 754 from metal, copper, or photo-etching techniques, and 153 from plastic. The remaining 96 parts are screws, rivets, or simulated screw heads.
