For the other, see: "Bon Appétit, Agony Edition" Tan Tolga Demirci, Brief Bio: Having completed a BA in Cinematography with the thesis 'The Psychoanalysis of Horror Genre' and MA in Cinema with the thesis 'Traces of Surrealism in World Cinema', Demirci is a director, writer and artist. As an educator, Demirci has been conducting courses and workshops at various institutions including KHAS, Istanbul Film Academy, AFSAD and Dream Institute. His teaching focuses on film analysis, semiotics, modern art history, experimental cinema, the relationship between dreams & cinema and film grammar. The director has published academic articles and books, served on numerous film juries and exhibited his individual collage works both in Istanbul and abroad. Continuing to deliver educational seminars on cinema and psychoanalysis, Demirci has been conducting theoretical research on surrealism for many years.
