Vintage Glashütte 17 Rubis men's mechanical wristwatch with original plastic box, produced by the state-owned enterprise Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe (GUB) in the German Democratic Republic (GDR, or East Germany) It runs on Glashütte GUB Caliber 09-20 manual-winding movement. It has an engraving on the back saying For 30 years working in a foundry 1988. I guess that is why after almost 40 years is still kept in its original box and looking fabulous.
