Nine authentic steel hand tools dating from 1910–1920, including adjustable wrenches and pliers, with marks such as ECCO British Made, Wrenches Unique Made in USA and Hyatt Mini No. 1504, in good used condition with signs of age and minor spots.
Description from the seller
This special lot consists of nine authentic, old pliers and keys, dating from the first half of the 20th century and possibly partly older. Taken together, they form a handsome and varied display of artisanal tools from a time before mass production and plastic handles.
Within the lot there are several adjustable wrenches, specialized gripping pliers, and cutting pliers, including clearly recognizable and marked specimens. Thus there is a British-made adjustable wrench from ECCO (Reg. No. 519300 – “British Made”), an American wrench marked “Wrenches Unique – Made in USA,” and a Hyatt Mini No. 1504, a compact yet technically refined piece that is favored by collectors of industrial tools.
The remaining pieces show typical features of antique forging and press work: heavy constructions, solid hinges, riveted joints, and a functional, unembellished design. The natural patina, signs of use, and light oxidation emphasize the authenticity and give each piece its own character. No two tools are the same, which makes this lot even more attractive.
This is not decorative reproduction work, but genuinely used tools from workshops, garages and industry. Ideal for:
collectors of historical hand tools
fans of industrial and vintage decor.
shop windows, workshop interiors, or interiors with a rugged, robust look
A beautiful and fair lot for those who love craftsmanship, history, and steel with a story.
