AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

An 18th-century reliquary clock with a well-running spindle escapement movement. It features a notably beautiful iron hammer rack on the side of the movement (see photo).
The winding holes are on the bottom right and the top left.
The whole clock is in excellent condition for its age, about 275 years old.
This has in the past been thoroughly cleaned, including the woodwork. It preserves the original glossy black lacquer and also the back side in matte black. The floor/cloth of the dial has been renewed or cleaned. Additionally, the entire movement has been professionally cleaned and lubricated.
So the clock is in the museum.
The winding key is included.
The clock is well packed and shipped insured. Pickup is preferred.
