A magnificent pair of bronze coupes that are exceptionally decorated with grapes and garlands (typical for the Rococo style). They are not only decorated on top but also underneath the coupe, around it's body and on the base. Coupes that are decorated so remarkably rich are very rare! These antique bronze coupes have traces of guilding and are made in France. Height: 30 cm Total weight: 8.7 kilo's Period: 19th century. Signature: both coupes are marked 'VZ 2' underneath their base. Condition: One little 'knob' that is holding the vines is missing on the side. The coupes are cast in multiple parts and some have a little 'wiggle room'. Over all: in very good condition with normal signs of aging (see images). A very decorative and eye-catching pair of high quality coupes!
