Two B&W CDM 2 black ash loudspeakers from 1996, in very good physical condition and tested and functional, each weighing about 14 kg, with serials 6592 and 6591 and no extras.
Description from the seller
A pair of studio speakers B&W CDM2 in beautiful black ash finish. These are rarely offered in such excellent condition. See also the photos. The front covers are also in great shape.
Compact monitor 2-way, 4th order bass reflex 16.5 cm Kevlar, intermediate layer, metal dome of 25 mm, gold-plated, bi-wiring connections, impedance 8 ohms, sensitivity 87 dB, frequency range 51-30 kHz (-6 dB): approx. 120 watts, RMS, load capacity dimensions: 316 x 220 x 24 mm, approx. 6.9 kg each.
They perform best with a high-quality (top) class amplifier. This provides an analytically detailed sound. Very good test results in serious hi-fi press. Certainly no extra bass cabinet needed, as they go deep. For more information, visit the B&W homepage or audio review. Comparable to the 705 or CM 5 from Bowers & Wilkins. Truly gems to look at and listen to. Made in the United Kingdom.
It was again a pleasure to check them and listen to them (pleasure).
They have been cleaned and extensively tested. They are very well packaged and shipped with track and trace.
