Mosaic - N.I.N.A. - 2025 - PACMAN

This work is an exciting tribute to the iconic 1980s and the universe of video games that marked an entire generation. The background, depicting a scene inspired by the world of Pac-Man, is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Pearl paper, a premium Fine Art paper characterized by an elegant pearlescent surface and extraordinary color rendering. The professional inks guaranteed for 200 years ensure vivid colors, sharp details, and exceptional longevity.

The protagonists of the work – Pac-Man and the two little ghosts – are crafted as handcrafted three-dimensional mosaics, composed of small glass tiles measuring 1×1 cm. Each tile is placed individually by hand, giving depth, stage presence, and a unique visual impact. Any minor irregularities are not defects but the distinctive mark of manual craftsmanship.

Dedicated 3D support

The mosaic figures are mounted on a snap-fit support that is fully designed and 3D printed, holding them suspended 1 cm from the background. This structural element creates a stunning depth effect and produces elegant shadow plays when light hits the subject, further enhancing the three-dimensional character of the work.

The background print is marginless, for a modern and minimalist look that integrates seamlessly into any environment.

On the back of the artwork, there is the artist's signature, an embossed stamp, and a numbered, signed paper certificate that attest to its authenticity and uniqueness.

Integrated lighting function

A hidden LED behind the figure of Mario emits a soft light that enhances the sense of suspension and depth without being intrusive. The lighting is activated by turning the switch on the LED, which has an internal battery that is easily replaceable.
