If, when off, the PM-66SE conveys an impression of elegance and solid construction (real quality, not just perceived), once turned on it confirms the first impression, delivering a classy listening experience: enjoyable, detailed, and at the same time endowed with a velvety smoothness, yet able to push when needed.
