Qianlong period blue-and-white fine porcelain octagonal dish from Jingdezhen, China, 32.3 cm wide, 24.5 cm deep, 4 cm high, weighing 900 g, titled Octagonaal vormige schaal and decorated with floral motifs and landscapes.
Description from the seller
This octagonal bowl originates from the Qianlong period (1736-1795) and is beautifully decorated with floral motifs and a vivid landscape. The bowl is made of fine porcelain. Much of the imperial porcelain from China was produced in Jingdezhen at that time. In this period porcelain art flourished greatly. I bought this bowl myself a few years ago at the Spengen auction house in the Netherlands. The bowl is in good condition, especially given its age. There are no rim chips, hairlines, or cracks. There are a few small frittings and brown spots that are barely noticeable. The bowl will be carefully packaged.
