AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Art studio | BRŪT is known for powerful, layered paintings rooted in abstract expressionism, drawing clear inspiration from masters such as Jackson Pollock. These earlier works were defined by free expression and physical gesture – raw, impulsive, and energetic, and this is one of the latest works in that style...

Now BRŪT has taken a new artistic direction. The current body of work embraces Minimal Art, influenced by iconic figures like Frank Stella and Sol LeWitt. Where chaos and emotion once prevailed, now precision, rhythm, and repetition take center stage.

The focus lies in structure, balance, and the interplay between form and negative space. Through carefully reduced compositions, BRŪT explores the very essence of visual art – where geometry, color, and repetition become meditative elements.

Unique, contemporary, and minimal – for collectors who look beyond the surface.

Mixed acrylic on cotton canvas (unframed) with UV-protective varnish layer

Total dimensions are 115 x 135 x 0.1 cm, and as a result the artwork is ideal for a 100 x 120 cm frame with a depth up to 4 cm.
The painting is also very beautiful as a triptych together with 'Abstract N° 2601.2 - COLOURFIELDS II and Abstract N° 2601.3 - COLOURFIELDS III', paintings that are also being sold at this auction (total dimensions 320 x 120 x 4 cm)

The close-up photo shows that staples were used on the side, which will create small holes when detaching. If, afterwards, the canvas is stretched back and framed, you won’t see any of this. If this would be a problem, this canvas can also be stretched as a 95 x 115 x 2.5 cm canvas, and you will have perfectly matched painted edges, with the small holes located on the back of the stretcher frame and completely invisible, therefore.

To guarantee cheap and safe transport, the work is shipped rolled up (without stretcher frame) in sturdy packaging with transport insurance.
When two or three paintings are purchased together, only one shipping cost will be charged.

Interior photos of the painting with its frame are purely for illustration.
