Side table - laminate, Wood, Brass - Original

Thank you for your interest in my offer.

You are bidding here on a beautiful vintage side / plants stool / table (true vintage, not a new made copy), which is in a good / very good vintage condition for its age.
You can recognize the differences by the fact that the newly made tables have rays painted on them. In the original tables, the rays are cut out of laminate in two colors ( usually one color is in mother-of-pearl look ) and alternately glued to the wooden top. There is always light wood underneath (pine? birch?), which is getting darker because of age and/or water.


SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS:
These simple types of tables were a cult objects in former GDR ( German Democratic Republic known as East Germany ) in 50-70's, so you will also have a part of history at your home.

SOME ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONS:
* A table of this type in exactly the same colour combination can be found in the GDR (Eastern Germany) museum in Berlin
* The table has mother-of-pearl look in brown part
* Colours: brown / black / golden
* Measurements: 46x28x26 cm
* Please watch carefully all the pictures, they are also a part of description ( each one can be enlarged )
* I would like to point out that the items I am selling are several decades old and therefore show general signs of use and age, such as minor scratches, scuffs, discoloration, dust, patina, chips, dents etc.

The table will be properly prepared for the shipping ( mainly recycled materials ) and sent insured ( up to 500€ ).

According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Only then, after the RECIPENT ( you ) receives a certificate of damage, I as the sender can claim compensation.
In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment.
