Sansui TU-S9 stereo PLL FM/AM tuner in excellent physical condition, tested and functioning, with power cord included, dimensions approx. 445 × 102 × 310 mm and weight about 4.2 kg, manufactured in Japan and dating from 1981–1983.

This beautiful and well-functioning Sansui TU-S9 is a hi-fi AM/FM stereo tuner with quartz PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) digital synthesizer tuning and a digital frequency display, produced around 1981–1983. The device is known as one of the better tuners of its time due to its high sensitivity, low noise, and precise reception.
It has a handsome wood veneer cabinet (which often resembles rosewood) and a black front panel with a blue digital display, signal and stereo indicators, and several handy features such as direct-set tuning and station presets.
Also notable are:
• 10 FM/AM preset stations
• Auto and Manual tuning
Last station memory with battery backup
• Noise Canceller, FM muting/mode switches
• Antenna inputs for 75 Ω and 300 Ω
• Simple yet sturdy output section for connection to amplifiers or FM adapters.
