Description from the seller

A large Baroque ceramic lamp, signed, in the shape of a putto.
This charming figure is ivory-colored and is mounted on a circular pedestal; the putto holds a glass Art Deco flame/torch in a copper collar.
Historical context: Putti are especially common in artworks from the Renaissance, the Baroque, and the Rococo.

Gorgeous French mid-century lamp with glass by Vianne France, with the original foil sticker.
Vianne Glass was founded in 1928 by glassblowers in the Bordeaux region of France and was the last remaining glass factory in France. Unfortunately, the Vianne factory closed its doors a few years ago, making the glass extremely scarce and rare.
