Description from the seller
For sale: Yashica FR I analog SLR with Yashica ML 50mm f/2 lens, made in Japan, complete with the original front cap. Manual 35mm film camera from the FR series produced in the eighties, ideal for collectors and enthusiasts of analog photography. The camera body is finished in black with a central pentaprism bearing the gold inscription "yashica" and laterally the gold-engraved "fr i"; the upper metal cap houses the ISO dial, the chrome shutter release button, the film advance lever, and the exposure controls. The Yashica ML 50mm f/2 lens made in Japan is mounted on the body with a bayonet mount and the front ring shows all technical specifications legible, while the internal elements show the typical purple and orange reflections of the era’s anti-reflective coatings, a sign of multilayer optical construction. The body is clad in black textured faux leather that covers the lateral surfaces to ensure a secure grip, while chromed metal strap lugs with a small movable ring are present on the sides, a functional detail for transportation. On the front left of the body there is a circular black selector wheel that is part of the camera’s operating controls, while at the bottom-right of the lens a black circular push-button completes the front controls. The set includes the original Yashica front cap in black plastic with a raised logo clearly visible in the foreground.
